We’re here to help.

For the longest time, I have actually always sung the praises of Aweber for my email marketing. This weekend I decided that it’s no longer for me … Here’s a quick contrast of Aweber vs GetResponse. Import Your Leads Into Getresponse.

I made the switch from, perhaps the most popular autoresponder among marketers, to another one that had a lot more features that I wanted.

I switched over to GetResponse. I feel a little bit bad about my choice. I’ve been with Aweber since about 2008 and I’ve constantly loved them and promoted them as an affiliate. We had a great run, I had a massive newsletter with them, we had great times together however it had to concern an end …

There’s absolutely nothing incorrect with Aweber at all. I still believe they are a fantastic company and I still would not be reluctant to provide a good suggestion if someone asked me about them. I’m just digging some of the functions of GetResponse a bit more.

First off … A major essential element for me was that I required a service that I could import existing lists to. I wanted to keep the lists that I built in Aweber and GetResponse enables you to import everything over without making individuals re-confirm their e-mails. Aweber does not provide this. If I wanted to import a list from another service in to Aweber, I would need to ask each and every single individual on the list to verify their e-mail address again. This would inevitably shrink my list …

Sure, it could be argued that having individuals re-confirm would only ensure that my list is as responsive as possible. In my mind though, it’s an annoyance to a great deal of individuals on my list. They are receiving one extra email from me that I wouldn’t otherwise need to send out. Some people may not see the re-confirmation e-mail since it went to spam or they overlooked it … People that would have wished to keep getting communications from me may have been cut off … Import Your Leads Into Getresponse.

With GetResponse, this wasn’t an issue. I was able to import everyone over with no issues.

2nd … GetResponse has amazing automation tools. You can activate emails to head out based on specific events.

You can send an email to individuals instantly on their birthday or if they opened a previous e-mail and even if they reached a certain page on your site. It’s quite effective. Aweber enables you to do some of this with broadcasts that you develop manually but it’s not offered as an automated feature in your follow up sequence. This stuff is huge to keep your list engaged.

Automation
Both AWeber and GetResponse provide some handy alternatives when it pertains to autoresponders and more complicated automation.

In GetResponse, setting up autoresponders is a basic task. You just need to click Produce an autoresponder and select the name and due date and time that you believe work best for you. Import Your Leads Into Getresponse.

You can also use GetResponse’s Autofunnel feature, which includes ready-made and automatic sales funnels (to sell your product or services), list-building funnels (to grow and support your audience) and webinar funnels (to share and monetize your competence).

You can release funnels in a flash with GetResponse’s predesigned expert circumstances, that includes signup page, follow-up email, order form, deserted cart email, verification email, and much more.

Each scenario set consists of top quality images, designs and expert sales copy. You simply require to click one you want and add triggers, conditions and tags as per your choices to go on.

With GetResponse, you can likewise set up ultimate automated workflows based upon time periods (for instance, a welcome message that is sent 5 minutes after someone registers for your page) or activate them on the basis of subscribers’ actions or data.

GetResponse also has built-in studies …
If you wish to survey your list to get more information about demographics, you can easily set up the survey from best inside GetResponse … It’s a simple, quick procedure and Aweber has nothing comparable … You ‘d need to purchase a 3rd celebration survey system simply to do this.

GetResponse has lots of totally free stock images
If you wish to use images in your emails or in your opt-in types, GetResponse has a deal with iStockPhoto and they have a thousand stock images available for GetResponse users. Can’t beat that!

GetResponse has much more instinctive reporting (in my viewpoint). I can much more quickly examine the statistics of one of my lists or all of my lists at once. Aweber makes this actually tough. I like having a summary of the stats of my entire account, instead of just looking at the stats of simply one list at a time.

GetResponse enables me to browse requirements across all of my lists instead of just one at a time. This was a huge frustration for me with Aweber. If I was trying to find subscribers that fulfilled a particular requirements, I had to check out each list individually to find what I was searching for. It was quite discouraging.

… One thing that I discovered after I made the switch … Deliverability went up! E-mails in my followup sequence that, at one time, got a 15% open rate are now getting a 30% open rate with GetResponse. Same exact list with a brand-new autoresponder … This makes me think that emails from Aweber aren’t getting in to the inbox along with GetResponse emails are. I wasn’t expecting this but it’s certainly a HUGE benefit.

Overall, they are both fantastic services and prices are pretty equivalent. I think GetResponse is really somewhat cheaper per subscriber (but still quite comparable). I don’t have much bad to say about Aweber but I’m slowly becoming a raving fan of GetResponse.

AWeber Vs GetResponse: The Decision
Both GetResponse and Aweber offer a lot of tools to help services create e-mails, communicate with their lists, and deliver highly reliable nurturing campaigns.

I can securely say that GetResponse comes out as the winner in this contrast. Import Your Leads Into Getresponse.
