Well, that’s the tough part.

Luckily, we’re here to help.

For the longest time, I’ve constantly sung the praises of Aweber for my email marketing. This weekend I decided that it’s no longer for me … Here’s a fast contrast of Aweber vs GetResponse. Request Getresponse Error 500.

I made the switch from, arguably the most popular autoresponder among online marketers, to another one that had a lot more features that I wanted.

I switched over to GetResponse. I feel a little bit bad about my decision. I’ve been with Aweber considering that about 2008 and I’ve constantly enjoyed them and promoted them as an affiliate. We had a great run, I had a huge newsletter with them, we had great times together but it had to concern an end …

There’s definitely nothing wrong with Aweber at all. I still believe they are a terrific business and I still wouldn’t think twice to give them an excellent recommendation if somebody asked me about them. I’m just digging a few of the features of GetResponse a bit more.

To begin with … A major crucial factor for me was that I required a service that I could import existing lists to. I wished to keep the lists that I integrated in Aweber and GetResponse enables you to import whatever over without making people re-confirm their e-mails. Aweber does not provide this. If I wished to import a list from another service in to Aweber, I would need to ask each and every single person on the list to verify their e-mail address once again. This would undoubtedly diminish my list …

Sure, it could be argued that having individuals re-confirm would just make certain that my list is as responsive as possible. In my mind though, it’s a nuisance to a lot of people on my list. They are receiving one additional e-mail from me that I would not otherwise have to send. Some individuals might not see the re-confirmation e-mail due to the fact that it went to spam or they overlooked it … People that would have wanted to keep receiving interactions from me might have been cut off … Request Getresponse Error 500.

With GetResponse, this wasn’t an issue. I was able to import everyone over without any issues.

2nd … GetResponse has awesome automation tools. You can activate e-mails to head out based on particular events.

You can send out an e-mail to individuals automatically on their birthday or if they opened a previous e-mail and even if they reached a particular page on your site. It’s pretty powerful. Aweber enables you to do some of this with broadcasts that you develop manually however it’s not offered as an automated function in your follow up sequence. This stuff is huge to keep your list engaged.

Automation
Both AWeber and GetResponse provide some helpful choices when it concerns autoresponders and more complex automation.

In GetResponse, setting up autoresponders is a basic job. You just need to click on Create an autoresponder and choose the name and due date and time that you think work best for you. Request Getresponse Error 500.

You can also use GetResponse’s Autofunnel function, that includes ready-made and automatic sales funnels (to offer your products and services), list-building funnels (to grow and support your audience) and webinar funnels (to share and monetize your know-how).

You can introduce funnels in a flash with GetResponse’s predesigned expert circumstances, which includes signup page, follow-up e-mail, order form, deserted cart e-mail, verification e-mail, and a lot more.

Each circumstance set consists of top quality images, styles and expert sales copy. You just require to click one you want and add triggers, conditions and tags based on your preferences to proceed.

With GetResponse, you can likewise set up supreme automated workflows based on time periods (for example, a welcome message that is sent out five minutes after somebody registers for your page) or activate them on the basis of subscribers’ actions or data.

GetResponse also has built-in surveys …
If you want to survey your list to get more information about demographics, you can quickly establish the study from best inside GetResponse … It’s a basic, quick procedure and Aweber has nothing comparable … You ‘d have to purchase a 3rd party study system just to do this.

GetResponse has plenty of free stock images
If you wish to use images in your emails or in your opt-in kinds, GetResponse has a handle iStockPhoto and they have a thousand stock images offered for GetResponse users. Can’t beat that!

GetResponse has much more intuitive reporting (in my viewpoint). I can much more quickly analyze the stats of one of my lists or all of my lists simultaneously. Aweber makes this really difficult. I like having an overview of the stats of my entire account, as opposed to simply looking at the stats of just one list at a time.

GetResponse allows me to search requirements throughout all of my lists instead of just one at a time. This was a big frustration for me with Aweber. If I was searching for customers that met a specific criteria, I needed to browse each list individually to discover what I was searching for. It was quite aggravating.

Finally
… Something that I observed after I made the switch … Deliverability went up! Emails in my followup sequence that, at one time, got a 15% open rate are now getting a 30% open rate with GetResponse. Same specific list with a new autoresponder … This makes me believe that e-mails from Aweber aren’t getting in to the inbox along with GetResponse e-mails are. I wasn’t anticipating this however it’s definitely a HUGE reward.

In general, they are both great services and costs are pretty similar. I think GetResponse is in fact a little cheaper per customer (however still pretty comparable). I don’t have much bad to say about Aweber however I’m slowly ending up being a raving fan of GetResponse.

AWeber Vs GetResponse: The Verdict
